rusted old car
rattles along on bald tires
much like owner

Zaida Lysle says: At fifty, I just earned my associates degree in the humanities. I am a published poet and short story writer, who is only a novice at writing haiku.I live currently in upstate Norwich New York, but was born and raised in Manhattan.I also love abstract painting.I am working on a poetry CD and trying to finish a first novel.As a single parent, Haiku fits into my busy lifestyle and is a real stress-buster.
