The haiku log is here to help poets with the accountability of writing haiku every day, while providing a place for people to read fresh haiku from poets they may not now. We don't care if your haiku is ALSO sent to your favorite mailing list. Many people are not on that list, and tomorrow it will be forgotten. We are looking for fresh haiku WRITTEN TODAY but archivable forever. If you see a poem you especially like posted somewhere today, send the author an email and ask "Have you considered adding your haiku to the haiku log?"
