First Annual Haiku Contest

You may submit a limit of 2 haiku with a $5.00 U.S. entry fee (total for both). First place will be awarded $50.00 and a certificate of merit, second place will be awarded $25.00 and a certificate of merit, third place will be awarded $10.00 and a certificate of merit, and three honorable mentions each receiving certificates of merit.
The deadline for submissions is December 1, winners will be announced in our New Years issue 2005, which will be devoted entirely to the contest results. All 6 winners will receive a copy of the magazine their work is featured in.
Works must be unpublished, this includes forums and message boards. Haiku should contain a New Years kigo (season word), and be 17 syllables or under. Experimental and vanguard haiku will not be accepted.
Be sure to include your email and home address with you entries.
